JUST ANNOUNCED!
David Anspaugh, director of the inspirational sports dramas “Rudy” (1993) and “Hoosiers” (1986), will lead a Q&A at the Embassy Theatre at 3 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 27!
The Q&A precedes a screening of “Rudy” and is included with movie ticket. Anspaugh is a native of Decatur. The movie director also has a bronze placard on the Embassy’s “Walk of Recognition,” in front of the theater’s Jefferson Boulevard entrance.

The Sports Flicks movie series makes its debut in 2019! Celebrate the movies that made Hollywood fall in love with Indiana and our hometown heroes. Plan to see all three movies in this brand new series. In the 1993 Rudy Sean Astin wants to play football at the University of Notre Dame. The movie chronicles his struggles to land a spot on the football team.
