Due to COVID-19 concerns, the Embassy Theatre and Fort Wayne Dance Collective (FWDC) have an announcement about their upcoming partnered events.

The MOMIX Master Class that was originally scheduled for Wednesday, September 23 at 6:30 p.m. has been canceled.

The MOMIX Show that was originally scheduled for Thursday, September 24 at 7:30 p.m. has also been canceled.

Due to COVID-19, MOMIX has postponed all of their upcoming tour dates. The presenting organizations are hopeful that they can rebook this event when public health concerns have lessened.

The Embassy and FWDC are eager to work together and are currently discussing other collaboration ideas to help keep performing arts alive in Fort Wayne during this challenging era. Pivoting to create ways to host smaller capacity events and local or regional programming that highlights area talent and artistic expression are key objectives. As soon as plans have been finalized, they will let the community know how they can participate as audience members or program participants.

Refunds for MOMIX events will be issued at the original point of purchase. Embassy or ticketmaster.com purchases using a credit or debit card can be digitally refunded. Any refund request could take up to a month to process. If you purchased tickets with cash or gift card, please contact the Embassy by phone at this time. Please note that the Embassy cannot refund tickets that were purchased through other channels such as secondary ticket sellers.

Additionally, the Embassy staff will be available the day of the original event to answer any questions. We appreciate your understanding and support and apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused, but if you have any further questions, please visit fwembassytheatre.org or call the STAR Bank box office at the Embassy at 260.424.5665. Our current box office hours are 10 a.m. to 6.p.m., Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Our box office lobby has reopened to the public. Social distancing and face coverings are required and safety measures have been put into place to help reduce the exposure to COVID-19.

These events were being presented by Parrish Orthodontics in partnership with In10sity Dance. MOMIX was being funded by Arts Midwest, City of Fort Wayne Cable Fund Access Board, Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne, Foellinger Foundation, Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne, the Indiana Arts Commission, and the National Endowment for the Arts. The Embassy and FWDC want to thank them all for their generosity and support.
