Fort Wayne, Ind. (January 28, 2026) – The Embassy Theatre is adding some extra holiday magic to the theater’s Dirty Dancing in Concert show. The organization invites patrons to have the time of their lives this Valentine’s Day at a Dirty Dancing pre-show party.
This fun party starts on Saturday, February 14 at 6:30 p.m. with a love-filled, pre-show experience inspired by the film that stole hearts. The party will feature a sweets bar with assorted pastries and candy, a photo booth to capture the “time of your life,” a hands-on keepsake craft, and exclusive Dirty Dancing–themed cocktails available for purchase. Whether guests are spending the evening with their Baby, their Johnny or a favorite Galentine or friend group, this special event sets the stage for an unforgettable Valentine’s night.
The pre-show party takes place in the former Indiana Hotel Lobby inside the Embassy Theatre and is free for Dirty Dancing in Concert ticket holders. The cost is $15 for non-ticket holders. The Embassy Theatre, Lionsgate and GEA Live present Dirty Dancing in Concerton Saturday, February 14 at 8 p.m. Patrons will bask in the romance of this beloved classic with an unforgettable evening. Based on the iconic Academy Award®-winning film, which was released 38 years ago, Dirty Dancing in Concert is bringing its magic back for this world tour.
Released in 1987, the film became an international box office phenomenon, and the soundtrack generated two multi-platinum albums and numerous singles, including the Academy Award®-winning Best Original Song “(I've Had) The Time of My Life.”
Patrons will have an unparalleled experience as they revisit the enduring love story of Baby and Johnny. The show will feature a screening of the digitally remastered movie while a live band and vocalists perform the hit songs in sync with a full-size screen on stage. The show continues with an incredible after party, where the audience is encouraged to sing and dance to their favorite songs from the feature film and relive their best movie memories.
The Embassy Theatre bar and concession area will feature a Dirty Dancing Date Night Combo that includes two glasses of Prosecco plus Cherry Cordial premium popcorn from Poptique for $20.
