Interested in Being a Volunteer?

The Embassy Theatre offers many volunteer opportunities including captains, ushers, ticket takers, door and aisle monitors, concessions, and committee seats just to name a few.

Youth Volunteer Corps
The Embassy Theatre invites high school students between the ages of 14 and 18 years old to apply to be part of our youth volunteer corps. Parental consent is required. If interested, please contact us at 260.424.6287 for more details.

Volunteer opportunities include:

Fundraising
Current special projects include the annual Festival of Trees or Marquee Gala in the spring.

Organists/Pianists
Experienced pianists play the Grand Piano in the Theatre Lobby Music Room for special Embassy events.

Special Projects
Community representatives with special interests and talents serve on committees for projects including the annual Festival of Trees or Middle Waves Music Festival. Also included in this category are occasional mailings and office projects as well as calls to patrons and donors for various needs.

Tours
Guide tour groups (including schools, seniors, visitors) through the Embassy Theatre and former Indiana Hotel Lobby, describing the Embassy’s unique history and architecture.

Ushers
Give 3-4 hours occasionally each month to welcome guests to Embassy concerts, shows and events in the theater. Duties include greeting guests, taking tickets, ushering patrons to their seats, answering questions, providing general assistance, selling concessions and more.
