Middle Waves Music Festival Is One Month Away

Fort Wayne, Ind. (May 30, 2025) – Middle Waves Music Festival will take place in one month. The festival returns to Headwaters Park on Saturday, June 28. The main gate will open at 3 p.m. for general admission tickets, and music will begin at 4 p.m. As the community gets excited about the festival, the Embassy wants to take this opportunity to reiterate the importance of this beloved event and ask for support.

This year, Phantogram brings the energy to Fort Wayne as the festival headliner. Mannequin Pussy, Ratboys, Post Sex Nachos and local band Loveseat round out the rest of the lineup.

Middle Waves was developed by a group of passionate volunteers who wanted to offer an outdoor transformational music festival located in the heart of downtown – a festival for all. Not only has Middle Waves drawn more visitors to our city, but it also provides the opportunity for citizens of the northeast Indiana region to support artists, to experience something new and to have an indie music festival experience in our own backyard.

“We are working hard to ensure the longevity and planned growth of the festival. The Embassy has charted a course to diversify and expand our programming. Middle Waves is an engine to accelerate this growth,” said Mary Jo Hardiman, chief operating officer. “The future opportunities are endless with Middle Waves: educational experiences, careers in the arts, investment outside the music industry – these are all possibilities, and that is exciting as we grow this important endeavor.”

Middle Waves is not only an economic driver for this community, it elevates Fort Wayne as a music city and allows the Embassy to partner with others to bring patrons to our thriving downtown. “Middle Waves is far more than entertainment. It inspires creativity, community and the advancement of the arts. Supporters are directly contributing to both the success of the event and the vibrancy of our city when they purchase a ticket, make a donation or become a sponsor,” said Katie Price, chief philanthropy officer. If you are interested in Middle Waves sponsorship opportunities, please contact Katie at katie@fwembassytheatre.org or 260.247.9383.

In addition to an incredible day and night of music, this year’s festival experience will feature vendors, games (including an amazing game trailer!), local food trucks and an art area to engage patrons and amp up the festival experience.

Those who cannot buy a ticket to the event can contribute in other ways: spreading the word, sharing social posts or donating to the festival HERE.

VIP tickets are still available. VIP buyers enjoy exclusive perks, including early entry (30 minutes), an exclusive bar, a designated viewing area near the stage, access to an air-conditioned restroom trailer, complimentary snacks and a dedicated water station.

About the Middle Waves Music Festival

Middle Waves is a one-day indie and pop rock music festival held in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana. It was created as an opportunity to draw more visitors to the city and provide northeast Indiana with a chance to have the music festival experience in our own backyard.

To ensure the growth and longevity of the festival, the Embassy Theatre acquired Middle Waves from the Middle Waves, Inc. board in summer 2023 and has taken over leadership of programming, planning and execution. In recent years, the Embassy has charted a course to diversify and expand its programming. The festival is in strategic alignment with those goals. For festival details, visit middlewaves.com.
