Spring Forward Fest
The Embassy Theatre will present the second annual Spring Forward Fest, a multi-venue music and arts event in downtown Fort Wayne.
The FREE celebration is Saturday, March 7, from 6-10 p.m. The family-friendly festival is scheduled for the final day of standard time prior to the annual time change. Spring Forward Fest will serve as the community’s Daylight Saving Time kick-off and a way to honor the growth and beauty of downtown Fort Wayne.
Guests are encouraged to visit three downtown destinations: Embassy Theatre, Ash Skyline Plaza and Parkview Field. Each location is an entertainment hub featuring a variety of musical acts. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at each location.
Spring Forward Fest locations and details:
Embassy Theatre features T.A.G. Art Company, which will offer face painting and balloon animals in the Indiana Hotel lobby, with folk musician Michael Jacobs performing live acoustic sets in the Yergens Rogers ballroom. Tasty food offered by Shigs in Pit. The Embassy’s rooftop patio will be open to patrons, weather permitting.
Ash Skyline Plaza will feature lighting projections by Alec Johnson, with music entertainment by DJ Adam Meyer. Food vendor Club Soda will offer a cash bar and small bites. The Ash open-air deck will be open to the festivities, weather permitting.
Parkview Field (Lincoln Financial Event Center) will offer concessions and a cash bar, with music entertainment provided by the Eliza Toth Duo, featuring Jon Durnell from 6-7 p.m. and Gary Toth from 8-10 p.m.
Spring Forward Fest patrons will receive free lighted wrist bands while supplies last. Patrons are encouraged to walk between venues or utilize a free trolley. A CTN shuttle will also be made available for patrons with accessibility needs.
Spring Forward Fest is presented by the Embassy Theatre.
