Black Violin returns to the Embassy – back by popular demand!

Black Violin is composed of violist and violinist Wil-B and Kev Marcus. They combine their classical training with hip-hop influences to create a distinctive multi-genre sound that is described as “classical boom.” They have shared stages with top names including Kanye West, Aerosmith and Tom Petty. Collaborations have included Wu-Tang, Wyclef Jean and Alicia Keys.

Educators are invited to bring their classrooms to the Embassy for a matinee performance by this inspiring duo. For more information on Learn It Live, contact education manager Maggie Hunter at Maggie@fwembassytheatre.org.

This presentation is supported by a grant from the Arts Midwest Touring Fund, a program of Arts Midwest that is funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, with additional contributions from the Indiana Arts Commission and the Crane Group.

Educational programming at the Embassy is supported by PNC. Additional support comes from the Flora Dale Krouse Foundation the Indiana Arts Commission, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
