Mark Herman brings the Grande Page to life with a memorable performance, entertaining audiences of all ages. Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Mark Herman has been a part of the Embassy’s organ legacy since he was young. Buddy Nolan, an integral part of the Embassy’s history, was a much-loved organist known for his midnight organ concerts that would bring crowds of people downtown to be a part of the late-night phenomenon.

The Embassy is thrilled to have Herman host this event in honor of one of his predecessors.

Mark Herman Bio –

Mark Herman is one of America’s busiest theatre organists, performing over 30 concerts and silent film presentations each year across the US and abroad. In 2012 Mark was named the American Theatre Organ Society’s Organist of the Year. He is the youngest person ever to receive the prestigious honor. Mark has been featured on several American Public Media’s Pipedreams program episodes and has performed for countless American Theatre Organ Society conventions, American Guild of Organists and Organ Historical Society conventions. He has toured Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. His compositions, arrangements, and performances have also been heard on television and in motion pictures. In 2019, he was honored to be featured alongside the Los Angeles Philharmonic for a rare organ solo cameo.

As a film accompanist and scorer, Mark has developed a reputation for dramatic period-authentic film scores with historically informed presentations that resonate with and captivate modern audiences. In 2019, he was commissioned to compose and record two new scores for The Criterion Collection’s latest Harold Lloyd Blu-ray release.
