In a short time, Fatima Washington went from just another young performer to having her own night at several clubs and restaurants. Fatima has sung background vocals for Trace Adkins while on the Shine On Tour with Martina McBride as well as Michael McDonald to audiences in the thousands. Additionally, she has opened for Isley Brothers, Jagged Edge, After 7, Keith Sweat, Bobby Valentino, the SOS Band, The Whispers, and shared a stage with Tony Award winner Heather Headley. Most recently opening up for Wynonna Judd who called her “the new diva.”
In 2011 Fatima released her debut CD “A Part of Me”. This CD has her hits singles “Loving you” and “Follow me.” Out of the studio, she moved from the club scene to special events including the National Anthem for Indiana Pacers, Fort Wayne Mayor’s Ball, Fort Wayne Embassy, Indianapolis Sickle Cell Foundation, Down the Line Concert Series, and several private events.
