One of todays premiere stand-up comics Jo Koy has come a long way from his modest beginnings performing at a Las Vegas coffee house. The hugely relatable comic pulls inspiration from his family, specifically his son. He was given the prestigious Stand-Up Comedian Of The Year award at the 2018 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. He has had four highly rated and successful comedy specials on Comedy Central and Netflix. In 2019, the comedian reached #1 on the Billboard Charts for his stand-up comedy album, Live From Seattle. He can also be heard on his weekly podcast, The Koy Pond with Jo Koy. Early in 2020 Koy sold out four shows at both the Chase Center in San Francisco and The Forum in Los Angeles. In March 2021, the comedian released his first autobiography, Mixed Plate with Harper Collins Publishers. This spring Koy will shoot the Amblin Partners and Dan Lins Ridback comedy film, Easter Sunday, based on Koys life experiences set around a family gathering to celebrate Easter.
