Lead vocalist, Melanin Soulest is an artist and songwriter hailing from Fort Wayne with a style all of her own. Experienced in live entertainment, recording/studio work and professional vocal accompaniment. Soulest sang in a number of local groups where she gained the opportunity to accompany major recording artists singing background vocals for Michael McDonald, Vashawn Mitchell and Zebulon Ellis. Today, with what started off only as a virtual concert during the pandemic, now with DJ and Entrepreneur Sasha (She Cut It) Chaney, lyricist Davyn Wright and drummer Robbiel (Robbie) Moore, all from Fort Wayne, as Midnight Mimosas they bring forth a hot new sound with cross-generational appeal. Performing original music and some of the greatest hits from Pop, R&B, Neo Soul and Oldies.
