A high-energy concert of Led Zeppelin’s timeless songs
Conductor Richard Carsey will lead the Philharmonic, an amplified 4-piece rock band, and vocalist Randy Jackson in a musically pulsing, visually exciting concert featuring 18 Led Zeppelin tunes, including “Stairway to Heaven,” “Heartbreaker,” “Immigrant Song” and “Black Dog.” Randy Jackson delivers a note-for-note vocal interpretation of the songs, capturing the spirit of legendary Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant with full-throated, passionate delivery of his familiar high notes. Jackson is the lead singer of the rock band Zebra, and recently produced and engineered their latest album, “Zebra IV.” He has also toured as keyboardist and guitarist with the reunited Jefferson Airplane.Berklee-trained arranger/conductor Brent Havens has written music for orchestras, feature films and television. He composed the score for the film “Quo Vadis,” a remake of the 1956 gladiator film.
