Refreshingly original, this dynamic duo of singer-songwriters connect their native North and South Americas, drawing from roots music and fusing global with local. Their unique sound fuses folklore, jazz, pop and harmonic experiments that speak to our present age of innovation and possibilities. With lyrics in the Chilean dialect, American English and modern Greek, their music bridges divides through messages of peace, freedom, authenticity, and creativity. Listening to their music, is a journey of starry skies over the South American plateaus, whirling winds in the fields of the Midwest, echoes and hues of the Greek sirens, and rhythmic beats of the pampas. Phenomenal musicians hailing from both North and South America comprise the full band format, KelsiCote Amig@s.
Embody Dance offers everyone and anyone no matter what their abilities and backgrounds a chance to find their own dance and feel the connections and rhythms of life that put us back into our fullest, authentic selves.
