Hours of operation
- The Embassy box office is open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and two hours prior to each performance.
- The Embassy Theatre observes the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. The box office will be closed on these holidays.
Ticket purchases
- The Embassy Theatre is a Ticketmaster venue. Tickets may be purchased at the Embassy Theatre box office, all Ticketmaster outlets or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
- The Embassy has a pull-in drive on Jefferson Boulevard and meters located on Harrison Street that are available for patrons purchasing tickets in person.
- Embassy members may purchase tickets by calling the Embassy box office directly at 260.424.5665. Click here for more information about Embassy membership.
- Ticketexchange at TM.com is the re-sell feature Ticketmaster offers to all Ticketmaster patrons who purchased tickets. This allows patrons to sell their tickets directly from the Ticketmaster website. There are posting and selling fees, but this is the safest way to purchase tickets from secondary sellers.
- Many ticket resellers may advertise Embassy Theatre events at inflated prices. TicketMaster.com is the only authorized ticketing system for Embassy Theatre events, concerts and shows. The Embassy Theatre strongly encourages guests to purchase tickets via www.fwembassytheatre.org or www.TicketMaster.com. Ticket purchases made on other websites – or from third-parties – may not grant you admission to the show. Additionally, if an event is canceled, the Embassy Theatre would not have guest information to communicate changes.
Privacy Policy
- Any data you provide through ticket buying or donations made will not be sold or outsourced from the Embassy Theatre.
Group Sales
- Group sales are available for many shows at the Embassy. Please contact the Embassy Theatre box office at 260.424.5665 for group information.
Will call
- Will call is available one hour before the performance at the Embassy Theatre box office.
Refunds
- No refunds or exchanges for any show. For canceled shows, refunds are available at point of purchase. If you can’t attend the show, tickets can be sold via www.ticketexchange.com, an online Ticketmaster service.
Show Cancellation
- In the event a show is canceled, the Embassy Theatre will post a notice to our Facebook page and guests that have provided email will also receive a message from the Embassy. For canceled shows, refunds are made at point of purchase.
Concessions
- The Embassy Theatre offers the sale of various pre-packaged food and refreshments. Please visit the concessions areas on the lobby and mezzanine levels.
Wheelchair access
- Wheelchair seating is available at the back of sections B and C. Please request wheelchair seating when purchasing tickets.
- Mezzanine and balcony access is via stairs only. The Embassy does not have elevator access to the mezzanine and balcony seating areas.
- Wheelchair availability: The Embassy has two wheelchairs available for patron use. Please notify an usher or staff member if you require a wheelchair.
- Hearing impaired: Assistive listening devices are available upon request. Interpreters require at least 48 hours advance notice for a performance.
- Sensory-friendly kits: Patrons of any age may request a sensory-friendly kit, provided by the AWS Foundation, to help adapt to loud sounds, bright lights and unfamiliar surroundings. Notify an usher or staff member if you would like to use a kit.
Security/Accessibility
- Officers from the Fort Wayne Police Department, Allen County Sheriff’s Department and/or Fort Wayne Fire Department are on duty during all events at the Embassy Theatre to ensure the safety and comfort of patrons.
- Please notify an Embassy usher or staff member if you are in need of first aid while at an Embassy event.
Re-entry
- Patrons must present ticket stub for re-entry. Please have ticket stub at all times.
Dress code
- Shirt, shoes and pants are required for entry.
Children
- All patrons must present a ticket for entry, with the exception of the Embassy Festival of Trees, when children under 1 are free (free ticket is still required for admittance).
Photography
- Photography and audio recording devices are usually not allowed in the auditorium. This is for the safety of the artists, comfort of fellow audience members and the copyright protection of the performance works.
Parking
- For evening (after 5 p.m.) and weekend performances, free parking is available at all downtown metered parking spaces. Paid parking is available at the Civic Center Parking Garage located off of Jefferson Boulevard and Calhoun Street. - Fifteen minute meters, located on Harrison Street, are available for patrons purchasing tickets in person at the Embassy box office.
Safety
- The Embassy is a drug-free, tobacco-free and weapon-free venue.
- Per state law, no guest is permitted to bring alcoholic beverages into the facility. Outside food and beverages also are not allowed.
- The Embassy reserves the right to inspect all bags/personal items upon entry to the facility. The Embassy will not confiscate or hold any restricted item; patrons must take them off Embassy property (such as returning to their vehicle) or place the items in trash receptacles.
- Off-duty law enforcement officers who are carrying a service weapon are to identify themselves to security staff and inform the safety officer of their location.
- Smoking is not allowed in any part of the Embassy Theatre. Patrons may smoke outside and, per local ordinance, stand at least 20 feet from the entrance.
- Any patron harassing any employee in any way will be ejected from the event and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Alcohol Awareness
- The Embassy Theatre promotes the responsible sale, service and consumption of alcohol.
- Embassy staff is TEAM certified. Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management (TEAM) promotes safe sale, service, and consumption of alcohol in the facility.
- All patrons who appear under the age of 30 will be required to produce identification when purchasing alcoholic beverages. Accepted forms of identification include a driver’s license, valid military identification, passport or other government-issued photo identification. If patrons do not have proper identification, there will be no sale.
- Any patron appearing impaired will not be permitted to purchase alcohol.
- Patrons will be limited to purchase and possession of two alcoholic drinks at a time and may be limited to one beverage if necessary.
- All alcohol sales will stop by 30 minutes prior to the anticipated end of any event. Typically 30 minutes after the main act has taken the stage or 30 minutes after intermission has concluded, unless patron action and/or other circumstances dictate an alternative need (management’s discretion).
- A patron that appears impaired while attempting to purchase a ticket for an event will not be allowed admittance.
- Underage alcohol drinkers or persons providing alcohol to underage patrons will be ejected from the facility.
- Any patron harassing any employee in any way will be ejected from the event and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
